As many of you know, I am a proud owner of an Intel Core 2 Quad Q9450 processor. However, I stumbled across a question on-line this weekend, where they claim there is no need to buy a quad core processor. By time programmes become quad core standard, technology would have moved on.
What are your opinions on this?
Are the current quad cores, just a gimmick which I fell into?
